Target Groundbreaking

The Target Corporation has broken ground on their 400,000 SF distribution facility for perishable and frozen foods in Denton.  They will be located in the industrial area in good corporate company alongside Peterbilt, Fastenal, and TetraPak. Due to design changes in their facility, this building will be a prototype facility and will be more vertical as compared to other Target distribution facilities.  It will also be equipped with the latest in automation technology.  The new building design will bring an increased capital investment of $100 million and create 115 jobs.

The estimated completion date of the project is in the latter half of the 4th quarter of 2012.
