Goings On at Denton Airport

Denton Airport (DTO) has had several big announcements in the past few months, both with the airport itself and with some of the businesses at the airport.  The airport is nearing completion of a runway expansion to 7000’ which will allow for larger planes and chartered aircraft to utilize the strategic location of the airport within the DFW Metroplex. 

U.S. Aviation recently held a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration for their expanded facility.  This expansion will better accommodate both the increase in the enrollment of their flight school operations and status as a fixed-base operator (FBO), which provides all the services a pilot and crew would need for both themselves and their aircraft.  Business Air recently announced that they were selected in a contract to provide fuel services for military aircraft.  Business Air is also an FBO out at Denton Airport, in addition to providing aircraft chartering services and sales, and maintenance services.   

The Denton AirFair will be held on Saturday, June 18th.  This is a wonderful opportunity for all to see this amazing facility.
