Labinal, Inc. Makes Move into Denton

Come the third quarter of next year, Denton will be Labinal’s new home. They are moving Corinth operations into the building formerly occupied by Russell-Newman (an undergarment and pajama manufacturer that closed their Denton location earlier this year). Their Corinth facility was purchased from Boeing in 2003, and Labinal moved headquarters from Oklahoma there in 2009. Two years later, they need more space.

“The size and layout of our new facility will be designed to build a presence for Headquarters and improve the flow of work throughout the factory. The move signifies an increased capacity to accommodate projected growth, due much in part to increased production rates from our customers.”

-Jorge Ortega

VP and General Manager

 Labinal North America

The building located on Loop 288 and Russell Newman Boulevard measures at 130,000 square feet and will nearly double the space of Labinal’s current Corinth facility. The Labinal team is now working with the owners on renovating the facility and building more parking to accommodate the company’s 720 employees.

What’s in it for Denton? Labinal plans to invest nearly $6 million in the project, moving equipment and other taxable property to Denton valued at more than $5 million. In addition, the employee relocation will put Labinal at number six for the largest private employers based on October’s Statistical Trends and News of Denton report.

Labinal, Inc. is a part of the Safran Group, which is a leading international high-technology group that focuses on aerospace propulsion and equipment, defense and security. Labinal is their wiring system subsidiary. They design, manufacture and install wire harnesses for clients such as Boeing, Bell Helicopter and Lockheed Martin.
