Capital Improvement Projects
In 1998, a Capital Improvement Project (CIP) improved the appearance and walkability on the face of the Courthouse Square.

In 2008, Cedar Street was renovated. The improvements were made not only for appearance, but for the safety of Denton residents and guest. The addition of street lights, bike racks, trees and pedestrian amenities brought the street up to par with the improvements made to the square in 2001.
