New plan for Southeast Denton has goals: infrastructure updates, options for developers, input from locals

Southeast Denton's small-area plan is now part of Denton's 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan after the City Council voted unanimously to adopt it Tuesday night.
The new plan will develop a culture district to celebrate the diverse history of the area, infrastructure improvements and an anti-displacement plan to help Southeast Denton homeowners who are struggling financially as home values rise.
